dpjfox Posted 21 September 2004 Posted 21 September 2004 None of the current first team are worthy of "my favourite player" status, however the best City player I have seen this season is Stearman (in Scotland, pre season) He will become a City favourite with all supporters once he has been given a chance, but I dont know when that'll be! sometime next season maybe. I can see him playing for England U21 before he makes his City debut!!
Anish Posted 21 September 2004 Posted 21 September 2004 Mine is Nalis. Committed in the tackles, great passer of the ball, great shot on him, and workrate is tremendous. A lot of players could take a leaf out of his book.
Guest Daniel Posted 21 September 2004 Posted 21 September 2004 Ian Walker - The guy is class and every time he concedes a goal it looks like it really hurts him, genuinely believe he loves this club and one of the only players to demonstrate any kind of loyalty through 2 relegations etc. 20591 Couldnt disagree more, ive always said it and ill always stand by it, i dont think he really cares. When ive seen him and spoke to him, he just grunts at people. He doesnt talk and when training doesnt have alot to say, dont think he's concerned about us, more like his England chances when he conceeds. If someone else half decent came in for him, he'd be gone in a flash.

Buzzell Posted 21 September 2004 Posted 21 September 2004 Great goalkeeper! We have something about having great goalies dont we! He has been so valuable since he first arrived and is very loyal. The perfect goalie!

He just looked like he couldn't give a damn about the fans and he didn't smile at anyone. Maybe he's just a miserable git.

Scow Posted 21 September 2004 Posted 21 September 2004 Walker's on a great contract - That's a huge factor as to why he's stayed with us. It's nice as fans to say he's been loyal, which he has, but his motives have been money, can't really blame him. He's a good goalkeeper though.
Cat Burger Posted 21 September 2004 Posted 21 September 2004 I really like the man, until his blip last season he was soooo reliable and will continue to be.........!
Guest Daniel Posted 21 September 2004 Posted 21 September 2004 He's a good goalkeeper yeah but i think what Hoof Fox said was wrong. Ian Walker - The guy is class and every time he concedes a goal it looks like it really hurts him, genuinely believe he loves this club and one of the only players to demonstrate any kind of loyalty through 2 relegations etc. 20591 He is far from loving the club...
