Okay, this topic is going waaaaaaay off-topic.

Someone either post something relevant to the actual transfer that probably won't happen anyway, or just close the thread before stuff gets real personal.

or don't read it and let the powers that be ban whoever can't control themselves. closing down debate is never healthy, all be it, slightly off topic, but very much related to this potential signing

really, if you think you can throw me under the bus with that, then i ain't having it. most on here are being completely 2 faced and not even realising. the majority of those claiming to be against division are the actual ones causing division. keep all politics and all religious crap OUT of football. like i said the other week on here and got a few divs jumping on me.

now, these days, we have laws against many types of hatred which is good, but i've never in my whole life seen or heard anyone being insulted for being gay and the last time i heard any racism was in 1996 against west ham, and if that happened again i'd want them people dealt with.

BUT, if all politics and religion where left out of football these days completely, this division we are talking about now wouldn't have even happened and all we'd be talking about was football.

Lol, have it and take it you utter hypocrite. Being against homosexuality is not political.

You're showing your true colours and you cannot stand it, can you. Sensational stuff really when you think about it.

The bit in bold is equally as sensational. I NEVER SEEN IT SO IT DON'T HAPPEN. You really are a piece of work.

Leicester City handed January transfer chance over target who shares same agent as James Maddison

Leicester City have a chance to right and wrong and now get a deal for a summer transfer target over the line.

The Foxes made nine additions to their squad during the 2024 summer transfer window in a bid to avoid a relegation scrap this time around.

Facundo Buonanotte can join an exclusive Premier League club vs Nottingham Forest on Friday and has been a revelation since he moved to the King Power Stadium on a season-long loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.

Elsewhere, Leicester fans heaped praise on Abdul Fatawu following his superb start to 2024/25 after returning to the club on a permanent basis.

While some of the signings brought to the Midlands have shone, fans were no doubt upset at the fact their club missed out on a few big names.

Adam Hlozek was linked to Leicester but he instead completed a move to Hoffenheim. The Foxes’ move for Wilfried Zaha hit a snag as well, while a big move for Santiago Gimenez failed to come to pass.

Another player Leicester missed out on over the summer was striker Mostafa Mohamed.

The 26-year-old is currently on the books of Nantes and the Foxes were one of the sides who looked to sign him in the most recent transfer window.

Now, information emerging from Sportune [via Sport Witness] has given Leicester a boost in their potential pursuit of the forward.

It is claimed that Nantes are struggling financially, meaning they may be forced to make some unwanted decisions on the transfer front, opening the door for Mohamed to be sold.

In a further boost to Leicester, the Egypt international recently changed agents, joining the UK-based CAA Base, who also represent current Leicester star Caleb Okoli and ex-Fox, James Maddison.

The report speculates that this link to Leicester via their current and former player as well as Nantes potentially needing to move some players on to ease their financial burden could help Steve Cooper’s side get a move over the line.

Mostafa Mohamed can be perfect addition for Leicester City
Mohamed has 20 goals from Nantes since joining in the summer of 2023 and would add some much-needed firepower to Leicester’s attack.

Former Ismaily head coach and Turkey national team advisor Muhsin Ertugral previously heaped praise on the striker, as per King Fut, labeling him ‘very dangerous’.

He said: “There’s a lot of expectations on Mostafa. There are a lot of professional and disciplined players at Zamalek, it’s a big club that’s why he’s used to this kind of pressure.

“He’s a top goal scorer and is very dangerous in the penalty area. He’s an influential player, he follows the game really well and is very good in the air.

At present, centre-forward is one of the weakest departments at the King Power.

Jordan Ayew has disappointed since his Leicester arrival, though he did finally score in the win over Southampton last weekend.

Odsonne Edouard has also underperformed following his loan from Crystal Palace but the potential arrival of Mohamed in January could give Cooper’s forward line a big boost.

Mostafa Mohamed signs new major contract that is not with FC Nantes
Thomas FilholBy Thomas FilholOctober 22, 2024No comments2 min. read

Mostafa Mohamed has a new agent.
Courted last summer, from England (Leicester), or Spain (Club Deportivo Leganés), Mostafa Mohamed finally stayed at FC Nantes. But the Loire club is accusing the consequences of the new TV rights grid and the resulting decrease. It could be required, or even forced, to sell assets during the next transfer window.

Mostafa Mohamed joins CAA Base agency
This perhaps justifies the Egyptian striker having a new agent. To support him in the future of his sporting career, he has hired the services of an international company, the CAA Base agency. Its player portfolio is one of the most extensive in the discipline. Let us mention Cole Palmer, James Maddison, Heung-min Son, but also on the French side, Kingsley Coman or the young retiree, Raphael Varane.

Under the thumb of the owner of Stade Rennais
The irony of this transfer is that the CAA group, a contraction of Creative Artists Agency which operates more broadly in the world of sport, cinema and music, was almost exactly a year ago transferred to the Artémis group, the same one governed by the Pinault family. The one which watches over and governs the interests of the neighbouring Stade Rennais and rival… of FC Nantes!
