Saw an article recently about how football clubs are killing pubs with Fan Zones. I never thought about that but now can’t ignore it.

Most definitely - a great way to control - control what people drink, how much people drink (and see anyone drinking too much) and most importantly steal the ££ pubs make (and sell more tat along the way)

It'd be interesting to see the impact of ours and the negative effect. I wonder how many who genuinely would usually pub it pre-match use the sanitised club controlled area.

We have at my work one of the closer ones to Sheff United’s ground. Won’t be the only reason it has recently gone but fan zone there I'm told is decent.
