Prices would be determined by the away club, and there would be no advantage for paying up front. Most clubs also don't like setting prices for games that are due to take place in March/April/May during the previous July/August. The Norwich price, for example, was settled months ago; had this not been the case, perhaps everyone could have had a better deal. Except for Lush, obviously.
