Mark Posted 29 September 2004 Posted 29 September 2004 Peterborough United have arranged a friendly with Championship giants Leicester City at London Road on Friday 8th October (7.45pm) to officially open the floodlights. The clash with the Foxes has been arranged as the scheduled League One fixture at Wrexham has been postponed due to international call-ups.Admission will be pay on the turnstiles and prices have been set at £15 for adults to sit and £10 to stand while children and senior citizens will be admitted for just £5 in both the terraces and in the North and South Stands. Executive Suite tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £10 for concessions. Leicester have several big name players in their squad including former England goalkeeper Ian Walker (pictured) and centre back Martin Keown - who won the Premiership with Arsenal last season. Dion Dublin leads the line alongside former West Ham United striker David Connolly. Manager Micky Adams is not without a Championship game that weekend and will be bringing a full first team squad to London Road for the friendly encounter. Giants eh?

Guest Posted 30 September 2004 Posted 30 September 2004 Seeing as I'm going away that weekend, I will not be going. Besides, £15???
TrickyTrev Posted 30 September 2004 Posted 30 September 2004 To officially open the floodlights? What a pathetic reason for a friendly, we will play a youth team no doubt.
