A few weeks ago it lost its late night licence, shame cos Saturday night made the place, so since then its been struggling, relying on veterans having one too many, sadly pissed pensioners were not enuff, and its gone under. Another great British landmark has departed, and it will be sadly missed. Last night wasn't the same without it, it was just the Swan. Which for most of the evening was depressingly bad, main amusement in the early evening came when i thought i'd help collect empty glasses for the bar maid, only to be shouted at, 'Wtf you doing, thats way too high'. But it started to liven up as the drink flowed. As the drink flowed so did the piss, went bog about 10 times. And on one occasion someone made a comment, at first i was delighted and very flattered, a guy stood next to me and said 'Hey your growing summat special there', naturally i was very pleased, shame he was going on about me hair.

Guest Daniel Posted 10 October 2004 Posted 10 October 2004 Sad news mate. I went to coventry last night to meet a girl i know. Friday night i went Stoney Stanton to the 'BlueBell' and then onto the meridian for a few games of bowling. God i hate that place on a friday night, townie heaven.
