I did say "I appreciate Leicester didn't choose to into admin". I was referring to Wise and his nasty accomplice. I was also aware of the embargo and the players you let go. So admin clearly wasn't a bundle of laughs.

However, LCFC still retained the core of the team because the adminstrators decided that the best way of clawing money back was by getting promotion keeping the core of your team, such as Izzet, Elliott and so on. It seems ironic that people mention all the non-playing staff you let go who probably got as much in a year as some of retained your players got in a week.

Fair enough, it must be irritating for Leicester fans to be called cheats all the time, especially when no one says much about Ipswich etc, but you must appreciate how galling it is for fans of other teams. Still, I'm sure you won't mind too much if you get promotion.

What you fail to realise is that we couldn't force these players to leave the club. The majority of the squad were up for free transfers. We accepted an offer from Aston Villa for Izzet in January, but he didn't want to go - He was on a brilliant contract with us, and he didn't want to sacrifice that.

This argument has been done so many times before, it's become tiring. But, at least you've been able to construct an argument without resulting to chep digs at us.

Regarding how I found this board, I was looking for reliable Leicester message boards to see if you'd signed Connolly and I think I saw a link to this one on the bottom of someone's posting. Is this quite a new site?

I'm really looking forward to the season. Obviously the football in this division isn't the best, but there must be ten teams who think they can go up.

The site's only about 2 weeks old, and we've already got near 100 members, and over 3000 posts.

I don't think this division is as strong as it was two years ago - There are not any outstanding teams that will run away with it like the last couple of years. Hopefully with signings like Dublin, Connolly, Williams, and Keown, we can have a successful season.

Forest on the other hand will probably be on the verge of the play offs. I don't think the squad is strong enough to make a realistic challenge for automatic promotion.
