Jimmy Posted 27 January 2006 Share Posted 27 January 2006 Linkage Williams In Fitness Race Gareth Williams is rated as a doubt for Saturday's FA Cup fourth round clash against Southampton at the Walkers Stadium. The 23-year-old midfielder was ruled out of Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat at the hands of Plymouth with an ankle problem. And although the Scottish international has made significant progress, caretaker manager Rob Kelly revealed that it was too early to make a decision on the playmaker. He said: "Gareth is touch and go at the moment, but we will know more nearer the game." Meanwhile, club captain Danny Tiatto is ruled out, but Patrik Gerrbrand looks set to return to the squad. Kelly added: "Danny is still recovering from a hamstring tear which will rule him out. "Patrik's wife has had a baby so that brings a bit of normality back to it all. He didn't travel to Plymouth for that reason but he will now be available once again." Recent signing Matty Fryatt is cup tied. Tickets for the FA Cup clash remain on general sale, priced at just £20 for adults, £10 for senior citizens and £5 for under 16s. The Walkers Stadium ticket office will remain open until 7pm on Friday to help to service the expected high demand, and will open its doors again from 9am until kick off on the day of the game. Vo Rogue Posted 27 January 2006 Share Posted 27 January 2006 How can you tell if he's injured when on the field . He spends a lot of time walking aimlessly around like a pedestrian I can't tell.
