How long is left to run on the rights to call LCFC's home ground the Walkers Stadium???

Just wondered cause Arsenal's deal with Emirates Airlines is worth something like £150 Million over 15 years!!!!

Didn't Walkers pay about £5Million???

If memory serves correctly, I think Walkers bought the rights for 10 years. It has only been 2 years since the stadium opened so I guess that leaves 8 more years of the Walkers Stadium.

We were actually offered more than that by A & L but it was so much per season. Walkers offered the 1.5 mill upfront so the club took it to try to avoid administration. As it happens we went into admin anyway, whether this had any impact on preventing us from going bust I don't know. Those were desperate times. :w00t:
