martyn Posted 18 March 2006 Share Posted 18 March 2006 Henderson 5.5 - Made a couple of important (albeit simple) saves but looked dodgy with balls whipped into the box Stearman 6 - Solid defensively but his distribution let him down McCarthy 6.5 - Beaten in the air frequently by Ben May, but was otherwise solid Kisnorbo 7.5 - MOTM. Solid as a rock again though he was not as dominant aerially as usual Johansson 6.5 - Good first half with some nice distribution. 2nd half got caught square too often and resorted to aimless hackjing, like every9one else Maybury 5 - Did nothing until the last 3 minutes when we kept the ball with ease Joey 5.5 - Pretty anonymous, save for a ridiculously hard hit free kick first half which would have come close to his half way line strike in terms of quality Williams 6 - Standoffish in the tackle but distibuted nicely. Hughes 6 - Shocking until he scored, but was a lovely goal if he meant it. Slightly better for the remainder but the game still passed him by. Fryatt 7 - Linked well with Hume first half, and his hold up play is top drawer. Never really got a sniff in front of goal Hume 7.5 - Some sublime touches first half but was left isolated for the most part. Incredible work rate in closing down defenders for 90 minutes Subs O'Grady 7 - Relieved the pressure, especially in the last 15 by winning free kicks and holding it up.
