Found a band that may be OK (well for my age group) Playing at The Musician Clyde Street,

Friday march 31st. Got Friday off so may check them out. Anyone been to that place? In the message I received on My Space they say it's not an 'underage kiddie drinking' type of place. No offence meant to the under age drinkers on here.

I went to see them tonight. Thought they were pretty good. It's so sad bands with talented musicians are being overlooked in favour of boy/girl bands and winners of third rate TV pop talent shows. There are talented bands out there but unless they do a bog-standard song that has been covered a million times over the powers that be that tell the general public what to listen to, don't want to know.

I suppose I'mm gonna get slated for saying that, so my excuse will be I've had some and no tonight.

I know and used to work with the long haired bearded one called Marcus on guitar. Good bloke. Not seen them yet tho.

They do seem generine people actually. Been on Myspace to thank everyone who went to see them. He (Marcus was saying they have done quite well locally chartwise and selling records and featuring on local radio but yet to hit the mainstream charts. I liked the lead singers actions while performing the songs. It is either very natual or very well rehearsed. I also think he has a very good voice.
