It depends what the sellers requirements are. I dont think you actually need to put money into paypal, if its linked to your bank account/credit card it goes straight out via that. What does it say in the postage bit of the auction?
Guest seanfox778 Posted 5 May 2006 Posted 5 May 2006 you can e-mail the seller and tell him/her about your dilemma and they will probebly understand

Katy Posted 5 May 2006 Posted 5 May 2006 i've not looked to be honest , i know they use pay pal tho so i might as well just use that ill just let them know itll be week or so Im sure they would be ok with that. I sell a fair bit on ebay and id rather people tell me they have a problem etc than just not say anything at all. Communication is the key
Foxing_Around Posted 5 May 2006 Posted 5 May 2006 You can actually now send payments via Paypal without the need to sign-up I believe. If you have online banking you could check online to see if the transaction has occured already. Failing that they may accept other forms of payment, cheque, Nochex (if they are a seller you should be able to send them a payment without registering for an account).
sackmycook Posted 5 May 2006 Posted 5 May 2006 even if you dont communicate the seller has to wait 7 days before actioning a 'non paying bidder' request. And then as long as you dont communicate with the buyer you still have a further 7 days to pay. however, as kayteh says it is better to let them know. but only after you win otherwise they might block you buying if they think you wont pay.
