Daggers Posted 31 May 2006 Posted 31 May 2006 For anyone interested in scientific how-to's I'll recommend "How To Score" by Ken Bray. A very interesting book from the perspective of a fan that believes he could have been a manager. There's a nice diagram to show that if you hang around by the corner flag you only have a 2% chance of being injured compared to an 11% chance when defending in your own box. I loved the breakdown of the England -Portugal penalties as well. There's a little mathematics in it, but nothing beyond a competant GCSE Physics student.
