Jonbluefox9 Posted 17 July 2006 Share Posted 17 July 2006 A decent interview with Rob Kelly on World. Basically says that the three that have been left at home are down the pecking order at the moment and if they want to get back in the mix they'll have to impress in training etc when the squad comes back from Cheshire. Kelly spoke of Dodds and Porter and said that they have been taken to gain experience of being involved with the first team squad. RK mentioned the team spirit in the squad. He said that the majority of the squad have now been together for at least a season so they are close-knit and the four new signings have fitted in well. He talks of having a small squad therefore having to keep everyone as fresh as possible. Minor things like checking how much weight has been lost during a session and replenishing lost fluids asap to prevent fatigue. RK said that he hopes Wesolowski will be joining in training at the end of the week and be fully fit by next week. The key objectives of the break are to improve fitness and work on tactics for the coming season.
Ultra Posted 18 July 2006 Share Posted 18 July 2006 Thanks for the summary. The set-up and preparation seems a lot more professional than some on here would have us believe.

Have you been having sound problems on LCFC World, I mean the jingle with the football is pefectly normal. But when they go to speak I have to turn up the volume right to the top and they are still not properly audiable!!
