King Kyle lcfc Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 I went to yesterdays game but forgot my season ticket so i went to the ticket office for a duplicate ticket and was told i had to pay £20 and as i didn't have any money on me i had to run to safeways at 14.50pm to gaet some money out. As i had a few beers after the game i lost the duplicate and am not sure wether i'll still be refunded. I just think its daft you have to pay £20 for something you've already paid for. They never used to charge either i think its a disgrace i bet they'd charge yo for a glass of tap water at that bleeding club.
Anish Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 I can't say I'm surprised really - some of the things going on at the club are a joke. They will obviously have your details on record, so they should only charge you for the cost of printing a new season ticket booklet. However, if you see it from their point of view - you may actually still have your ST and are trying to get another one (for a mate) for free.
King Kyle lcfc Posted 28 November 2004 Author Posted 28 November 2004 No they charged me £20 for one ticket for yesterdays game i just left my season ticket at home a replacement season ticket only costs £5
Daz Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 Why didn`t you just get a replacement season ticket then and save £15 ? Daz
Anish Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 So wouldn't it have been cheaper to have got a replacement ST rather than just the replacement for one ticket?
MON Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 They refund the 20 pounds if your show your season ticket that u left behind at home by accident.
TrickyTrev Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 I forgot my season ticket on the last game of last season and had to pay the stupid £20. I sopecifically asked wether it would be okay for me to get the ticket refunded this season as living in Lutyon it was unlikely I would be in leicester before then. I was re assurred this was okay and was evenm given a receipt saying this. When I tried to claim my money this season and the club tried to say no to me on the basis it was against club policy I couldn't believe what I was hearing. They were actually trying to rip me, a loyal season ticket holder, off. Many ranting letters later I finally got my money left but5 I had to go all the way to the top, Tim Davies. It was not the money but the principle of the club trying to screw me out of my money. I doubt you will see your £20 again.
Anish Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 Good for you Tricky Trev - it's the principle that counts, not the money.
Scow Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 I remember doing the same thing for the last ever game at Filbert Street - I had to pay £15, they provided a receipt so I could receive the refund. Over the summer, I attempted to get the ticket refunded, but they said the receipt was invalid because of the new stadium move. They had installed a new system which didn't have the details on. <_<
