Nothing to do with City or sport unless you class raising your hand at regular intervals with a glass in your hand a sport. It is to do with beer. Mainly real ale. I may have a section for the **** drinkers but I will want a Mod for that. Sections will include real ale, up and coming festivals, bottled beer, cider and perry and general news about the industry. I have only got the main page but I will need help. Hopefully people with expertise in certain feilds will contribute and maybe help out. It is early stages but I do not really want it used to advertise the beer just information. Now I need to get this out to the beer-drinking public. Any ideas? My beer site. Guess where I'm going now? Yes for a or three.

Rincewind Posted 28 August 2006 Author Posted 28 August 2006 Well I've contacted the Leicester branch of CAMRA to see if they'll give it a mention. I've found a few smileys for the site anyway. Just over 400 so if you don't post you can nick the smileys. Created one sub-forum Leicester Drinking News. This will do for a start then if I get post from other parts of the country I can split it up into regions. I just need members now.

Rincewind Posted 31 August 2006 Author Posted 31 August 2006 I've updated the forum. There is now a links section to a coulpe of pubs websites and CAMRA branches. I have a contact who may be willing to print some flyers for me and places I visited today are willing to display or distribute them. I have one subscriber who works in the met office and PC's and has run a website previously who is willing to help setting up and moderate the forum. All I need is some more registered users and some input. I need to know what sections are accessable by normal users and can be replied to. I won't know myself because I log in as an Admin and need to know if the link is set up right underneath this post. I have not made any rules yet as I expect those that will mainly post are mature enough to behave. It is a beer site, and therefore the majority will be 18+.
