Mack Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 Saw them interviewed live on SSN this morning with Pardew. Cant help feeling the whole cherade looks contrived and simply will not work. These players, however good for Corinthians, are going to get caught out by the pace of English football and spend most of the season on a learning curve. Meanwhile they will get selected infront of players who have been doing the business for the hammers for already this season. If anything it's going to cause unrest in the camp and Pardew was hinted they will get flogged on in a year. Sounds like they are only at West Ham to increase their value in the European market to get sold on to the continent or a bigger British team. I've seen some thick west ham fans on the box saying they can compete with the top four now. They are in for a big shock!
Guest Gist Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 I don't think they will be in for a shock although I don't think they will adapt to the english game for a good few weeks.

I see Maschearno settling in fine he is a fanstastic player who will be running Argentinas midfield for at least a decade to come, he has the potential to be better then Makelele IMO. Tevez is a differnt story, he may have to work at his game for longer. If he can adapt quicky however the fast style of play may prove to suit him better as a player in the long run
