Half an hour???? Jeeeeezus you're pretty lazy !!! Tbh though, I wasn't expecting you to come on 'til a little later tonight, when there was less chance of younger people being on the forum Whether it was half an hour or not, thanks anyway Nice to know you check the news and the lcfc forum before you come for a chat though

Gotta know what's going on in the world before I chat to people, gotta stay on top of things. I post throughout the day - there's more going on during the daytime, but there's certain people who post at night, so I come back later too.

Very colourful in your posting I could never get up at 2:30pm, I would neither be able to do so nor would I be allowed, that's just plain unfair Must have gone to bed pretty late though I don't know, maybe to do with the fact that your conversations sometimes drift from normal, clean and friendly, to sexually orientated or plain evil in a matter of posts. Kids are not advised to read certain things on here from you and your gang Staying on top of things is the best way to do things I suppose, at least you're up-to-date and ready to talk about whatever is on offer straight away And by night-time posters I assume you're referring to KM, Cisono, TPH, DB and the like??

I'm in Canada - I was actually awake at 9:30am my time - I'm 5 hours behind you, time-zone-wise. Sorry if I wasn't clear about it first time around. My posts usually drift later at night - just a natural progression from clean family fun during the day, to less appropriate material during the hours of darkness. So I don't need to wait to come online, I'm guided mostly by the people who are posting. I'm good like that. And yes, some of the names you mention are indeed those of the 'nightwatch'

Hmm "nightwatch" sound like they're a bad influence on you .. They are a decent bunch of people however, well, when they want to be

I'd influence people in that direction myself, if I could be bothered to.

Well I was in the right area, and now I know the exact location of the airport (Nottingham East Midlands as it's now known) is Castle Donington Hmmm I'm not so sure, I mean, people in that group are very forceful and influential, but I guess that's why you're a part of it

lcfc_jme Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Cool... Mind if I enquire just why you're actually living in Canada at this time, or is it kind of a personal/family issue that is none of my business..?
lookwhaticando Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Cool... Mind if I enquire just why you're actually living in Canada at this time, or is it kind of a personal/family issue that is none of my business..? I've been here for just over 5 years now (5 years, one month). My dad moved because he worked for a Canadian telecommunications company - he wanted to be closer to the action, as it leads to better prospects within the company if you're based in Ottawa, where the majority of the metro optics group was based.
lcfc_jme Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Oh sweet.. I'll pretend I've done a business degree and I understand all of that: Very wise decision on his part. Can be a bit of a gamble and extremely disruptive, but a gamble definitely worth taking. I think he'll find it will pay dividends in the long run, and I can safely say that he has made a fantastic business decision. It's only a matter of time before he's reaping the rewards

It's only a matter of time before he's reaping the rewards He left them a year after moving. It was a gamble, but it's one the company paid for - so it wasn't overly risky. It would have been disruptive, but it was timed so that I had finished my GCSE's and my brother had only been in secondary school for a year - minimal disruption on the education front was a key factor.
lcfc_jme Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Ahh wise. Seems like it was a pretty easy decision to make then, seeing as everything was paid for and no exams or education were going to be disrupted and ruined. But he's no longer with the company?? must be pretty nice over there then if you've decided to stay as well.

Staying was always the intention - we didn't relocate just so he could work here for a few years, my parents actually wanted to live here properly. Now the company my dad is with is based in San Jose, California - he's planning on relocating to California in about a year's time. The family ain't what it used to be, so he'd be going it alone this time.
lcfc_jme Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Well done lad. Top posting, keep it up. Cheers mate I shall try to keep it up, and I don't see why I'd struggle if I keep talking to lookwhaticando and TPH (their conversations invite people to join in and post a lot ). Thanks though

Ahh so you're over there permanently and that was always the plan - got ya now Least I know if I ever visited Canada I'd know somebody out there, maybe have to make a visit ... Shame that the family isn't the same, sorry to hear that. Gona go visit him in Cali though?? I'd love to go there, sounds great
lookwhaticando Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Naturally. I've been to California, and I like it a lot there, so I'd want to go and visit.
