He was given his debut under Jock Wallace in 1978/1979 season. He got sent off in his third ever game at Sheffield United.

spirefox Posted 7 December 2004 Posted 7 December 2004 I went to Sheff U away,last game of 78/79 season, we drew 2-2 with a really young side . Gary Lineker scored his first ever City goal at Notts Co. two weeks earlier.Remember Carr being sent off but not what for.
