lookwhaticando Posted 22 September 2006 Posted 22 September 2006 I've just cooked my dinner. Pasta. And meatballs (Swedish, of course). Thing is, I did myself some sauce for said meal... it's called "Vodka Sauce" supposedly popular around Milan - tomatoes, other stuff and vodka in sauce form. Does having Vodka on my pasta alcoholic?
Thracian Posted 22 September 2006 Posted 22 September 2006 Is it the closet you were looking for or something much nearer? Either way you seem to have overdosed on the vodka....
cisono Posted 22 September 2006 Posted 22 September 2006 Is it the closet you were looking for or something much nearer? Either way you seem to have overdosed on the vodka.... And the polls!
OBO Posted 22 September 2006 Posted 22 September 2006 Doesn't alcohol lose it's intoxicating effects when you heat it through or use it in cooking - so you could eat your own weight in this pasta sauce and still be as sober as a judge? I ain't no scientist or nuffink but that's what I heard!
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Yes, I condemn thee I remember all those Sunday lunches where I knocked back heaps of trifle just so I could get my hit of port. Then there was this dance festival a few years ago when I forgot the milk, and so I had Canadian Club on my Froot Loops

It was supposed to be for a laugh obviously but I was pished before midday. But yes, more grog in your food is a good thing. That way you can knock back more grog while eating! Drink while you're eating... you only drink when you're eating... Drink when you're eeeeaaaaating...
cisono Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Is the title supposed to be: "The sign of a closest alcoholic?" or "The sign of a CLOSET alcoholic?"
