bluefox Posted 10 December 2004 Posted 10 December 2004 Im not going. Not paying extra prices it should be added in your ST. The last time we were in Divison 1 we played Bristol and went through hopefully this will be the same. Maybe we may go to Cardiff twice in one season. 45240 FA Cup matches have never been added onto Season Tickets. The gate receipts are shared between both clubs more than usual (I think each gets a third and the FA get the other third). Would be a bit unfair on Blackpool to not allow them to get their share of the money! 45256 Not quite true. In the past the first x number of cup games have been included in the ST price.

If we had a home league cup tie, then we had to buy our FA cup tickets. If we didn't have a home league cup tie, then any FA cup game at home would have used it. In the years when we had no home cup ties, the price of a match ticket was taken off of the price of next season's season ticket.

It then changed to the League Cup.
bluefox Posted 10 December 2004 Posted 10 December 2004 More than 1 game in the past. i recall at least two seasons when it was the first three games. One year the Athletico Madrid home leg was included as the 'free game'. I think i have seen an FA cup match with the free ticket rule in the past

You're definitley right about the FA Cup as I said included before they changed the receipts rules.
Guest Daniel Posted 10 December 2004 Posted 10 December 2004 I have aswel, definatly had an F.A cup game for free before and like you said we had a UEFA game for free one year.
TrickyTrev Posted 10 December 2004 Posted 10 December 2004 Very few clubs give cup games away fro free with the season ticket, I think the prices are reaonable this time although they have not been in the past. Broardly speaking I will not pay any amount of money the club charges me, it is my job as a consumer to only pay a price that is reasonable otherwise the club WILL exploit me and the rest opf the Leicester fans. The club are only loyal to youtr money not to you as a supporter.
