Darren27 Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Thats probabley why you can't find one in Northampton, and I can't find one in Coalville, Ashby, or even Loughboro. The JJB shop in Loughborough had loads of LCFC kit the other week. The new stuff was on a rack just to the right of the main door. There was still a few of last years shirts at a big discount, they were on a rack in the right corner of the store. HTH Darren
Jamesino_LCFC Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Ok, not trying to start another Board Out thread. But I feel the need to let you know of the event that occured yesterday. I was in JJB...oh dear, looking for a mini England Kit for the Janxlet, and franly they ONLY do minikits around the time of the world cup etc, the smallest size was 6-7 years, which wasnt TOO bad, as he for some reason nearly fit it. The problem was there were no socks and shorts and he has set his heart on it, his attention was then diverted to all the other "mini kits" hanging there.... it is worth pointing out that he is 4 and his knowledge of teams is low to say the least, in that when I sked him which team he supported he said "England", fair enough I thought, but then I went on to ask what city or town he supported and of course he said Leicester as he wants to be like me etc, ( also worth pointing out that he said Wakefield Wildcats, a rugby league side !) Anyway, when he couldnt find the England kit, he spies the Manure, Chelsea and Leeds kit and starts declaring undying support for all three. The latter for me would normally be like a spear through the heart... Y'know what.... I nearly let him buy one, and thought, sod it I dont mind taking him and his little mates to a local game .... after all he will have an uphill battle supporting the foxes, why get a kicking for supporting a crap team AND have to endure depressing drives into the oblivion.... Luckily he spied an England Goalkeeping full kit... aged 4-5 ... thank god he decided to be a goalkeeper... for now... Its a shame mate, but strangely I wasnt really into football and Leicester in the days when we were doing well, however my dad still bought us a season ticket and enjoyed going down. But eversince the Mickey Adams premiership days I have loved and cherished my club, so maybe you could be a great fan even if your team isnt doing well.. ? Well thats my story anyway Just keep pushing him
