Wils Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Fox Leisure Distribution Company in china I still have a T-shirt somewhere from years ago. In good condition just faded from navy to purple, and the badge fell of your welcome to it for your sales.
Magic No. 8 Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Ok, not trying to start another Board Out thread. But I feel the need to let you know of the event that occured yesterday. I was in JJB...oh dear, looking for a mini England Kit for the Janxlet, and franly they ONLY do minikits around the time of the world cup etc, the smallest size was 6-7 years, which wasnt TOO bad, as he for some reason nearly fit it. The problem was there were no socks and shorts and he has set his heart on it, his attention was then diverted to all the other "mini kits" hanging there.... it is worth pointing out that he is 4 and his knowledge of teams is low to say the least, in that when I sked him which team he supported he said "England", fair enough I thought, but then I went on to ask what city or town he supported and of course he said Leicester as he wants to be like me etc, ( also worth pointing out that he said Wakefield Wildcats, a rugby league side !) Anyway, when he couldnt find the England kit, he spies the Manure, Chelsea and Leeds kit and starts declaring undying support for all three. The latter for me would normally be like a spear through the heart... Y'know what.... I nearly let him buy one, and thought, sod it I dont mind taking him and his little mates to a local game .... after all he will have an uphill battle supporting the foxes, why get a kicking for supporting a crap team AND have to endure depressing drives into the oblivion.... Luckily he spied an England Goalkeeping full kit... aged 4-5 ... thank god he decided to be a goalkeeper... for now... Its sad but at the end of the day you can't force anyone into supporting a team. My Dad supports a different team and often said he wouldn't watch Leicester if they played in his back yard...in spite of this I turned out normal
Master Fox Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 I still have a T-shirt somewhere from years ago. People could get a feel for the quality of the products that would be sold in store. I might even do a website as well.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 To be fair I would buy the trainers. Lee Philpott modelled them so well.

Katy Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 I sympathise with you Janx, I was expecting when I moved to Lincolnshire and had the option of having my baby at Peterborough Hospital (which is loads nearer and less hassle to get to) or the Leicester General. My reasons for plumping for Leicester were football based as I didnt want her to have to support Peterborough. Im a mentalist
Master Fox Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Dont need a model by any chance. I would be ideal. What are your measurements? Who do you compare yourself to?

Of course this means nothing as I am also a mentalist.

Wils Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Who do you compare yourself to? Nothing compares. Have i got the job or what,im skint.
Master Fox Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Nothing compares. Have i got the job or what,im skint. Ok, you’re hired. I can only offer minimum wages at the moment. But you receive a staff discount card offering 10% discount on all fox leisure items.
Knighton Matt Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 More worrying still is the fact you can't get one in Fosse Park! You can. I bought mine in JJB there. There's none in the sports soccer or whatever its called though.

syston_fox Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 I feel the same way about the highlights DVD/Videos, going into shops even in Leicester like HMV or Virgin you'll get a selection ranging from the obvious (Man U, Liverpool) to the less so (Wolves, Leeds), but no Leicester ones! Virgin stocked it when it first came out - even had it on display near the doors. They also had a copy of 2004/05 highlights when I last went in but for the criminal price of £19.99!

They also had a copy of 2004/05 highlights when I last went in but for the criminal price of £19.99! The time I'm thinking about is probably a couple of seasons ago. I hold grudges.
Daggers Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Young Master DB (6ys) has started asking to go to the Villa. I said "...but surely you want to come back to see Leicester with me, don't you?" "No, they're rubbish, I want to see Aston Villa" Looks like the free flags and season tickets didn't cover up for the football on offer once inside the stadium.
Thracian Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 I went in to JJB in Maidstone and enquired about purchasing a Leicester shirt. First they looked blank, then they just laughed. No room cos of all the Gillingham shirts I suppose!!! Or is it Dover, Deal and Hastings?

Loake Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 You can. I bought mine in JJB there. There's none in the sports soccer or whatever its called though. They didnt have any medium ones when I went, had to go into town to get it!!
The People's Hero Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 No room cos of all the Gillingham shirts I suppose!!! Or is it Dover, Deal and Hastings? Try Chelsea, West Ham, Spurs, Man Utd, Charlton, Arsenal, Liverpool! Not many Gills fans round here. I know more Maidstone fans than Gills fans. Bit of history between then, apparently. Something to do with when Maidstone went bust.
Sparky Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 jjb in the city centre and jjb fosse park sell city shirts but ive yet to see them outside the city
