After another bad defeat, it looks like his days at Upton Park might be numbered.

Although the fans seem to be sticking with him, I wonder if the board feel the same way?

I blame the big name charlies that joined.

Bet that killed the team spirit that served them so well last season.

It's not like they had a good run then fell off near the end of last season as Charlton used to... they gave it their all over the entire season, right up to the FA cup. It only went tits up this season - coinciding with a slight change in personnel at the playing level.

they are blaming hitler, tony blair, glen roeder, you.....its never a simple task to target blame for them. they slag off the board while ignoring where the club where before the halls and shepherd made them big.

They blame the board for appointing Roeder who they think is out of his depth.

The board has been blamed for many of the past seasons - appointing Souness and not sacking him earlier, sacking Robson etc etc.

It a warning to everyone about what can happen. I hope they go down then the warning would carry even greater emphasis.

I don't want them to go down - there are far crappier teams we need to relegate first.

Besides, hopefully some 'white knight' will come to the rescue of the Argies who have so clearly found England a very hostile place... much as their ex-leaders did when they tried to take the Falklands.

Hopefully, upon the Argies' exit in January, West Ham's team spirit comes flowing back and they get themselves onto the road to recovery. Big names into a big-names' club works (relatively) but big-names joining clubs built on organization and team unity, such as at West Ham or Wigan last year will often end in tears. :sweating:
