Lord Nibblington Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 Maybe you should be more responsible when it comes to coursework in future?? Where's the fun in being responsible with coursework? Doing it all at the last minute so much more exciting!
lookwhaticando Posted 1 December 2006 Author Posted 1 December 2006 Where's the fun in being responsible with coursework? Doing it all at the last minute so much more exciting! I started this one two and a half weeks ago. Hardly last minute. That's not to say I don't often dabble in the realms of last-minute coursework.
lcfc_jme Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 Where's the fun in being responsible with coursework? Doing it all at the last minute so much more exciting! I was trying to be sensible for once but seeing as it didn't have the desired effect, I won't do it again Exciting in coursework terms doesn't tend to exist with me I started this one two and a half weeks ago. Hardly last minute. That's not to say I don't often dabble in the realms of last-minute coursework. Poor in terms of content. Needs a lot of work. Get it sorted.
lookwhaticando Posted 1 December 2006 Author Posted 1 December 2006 Poor in terms of content. Needs a lot of work. Get it sorted. Leave it with me... Boss. There's more content now... and I'm heading for page 34 at a furious pace.
Lord Nibblington Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 Last minute is the way forward. I did my Uni dissertation last minute stylee and bagged myself a 2:1. Forward planning is overrated I say!
lcfc_jme Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 Leave it with me... Boss. There's more content now... and I'm heading for page 34 at a furious pace. Not your boss, son. Far from it Just trying to keep you on track and help you to fulfill your potential, leading to better opportunities. Sort of like the voice of reason preventing you from losing focus too often Cracking on at a nice rate though, which is good to see

This isn't part of my major, it's just an elective course, so it effectively has zero influence on my opportunities.

Then what the fook are you bothering to do 30+ pages of work for?? bollocks to that!! Come back to FoxesTalk permanently, further ignore that stupid course of yours. It's pointless doing it - be selfish. It gives you nothing so why bother with it?? You know I makes sense

You know I makes sense I need to pass the course or I'll be half a credit short. The essay is worth 30% of my grade in that course. I need to put some effort in. As I said, it may be 30 odd pages, but it's light on content. So long as I get a 50 on the paper, I can pass the course with relative ease. Besides, if I do a reasonable job, I can maintain my GPA which is important.

You know best mate I'm a little lower in the educational stakes than you at the minute, so you know more of what is going on and what is required than me Do what is required, no more no less. Don't dedicate too much of your time to it though so much for motivational speaker!!

lcfc_jme Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 Don't worry, I won't be far away from FoxesTalk at all. Ever. slightly worried by that. You'll be at 10k before some of the people already on 9k if you continue at your current rate!!
Rincewind Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 ... and you had a birthday in between. Yes but I thought it best not to mention that one.

It had occured to me that such a possibility existed. I think Thracian will beat me, though. No matter how much I post, I'm always trailing Thracian by a country mile. How does he do it?!

I think 95% of your posts could equal one of his for length It seems to me as though you will beat Thracian if you continue at the rate you are currently posting at, post-whore
