davieG Posted 11 December 2006 Posted 11 December 2006 Chelsea star Joe Cole has broken his foot and will not play again until next year. The England midfielder has only recently returned to full fitness following a knee injury he picked up in the summer. Cole initially picked up the injury in Chelsea's draw at Manchester United. Scans have now revealed that there is a minor stress fracture in his foot which means he is likely to spend at least another month on the sidelines. So far this term Cole has managed just three starts for the Premiership champions.
