lookwhaticando Posted 7 February 2007 Posted 7 February 2007 BBC Sport. The least animated manager the Premiership has ever seen today revealed he wanted the U21 job (full time, of course). The U21s need an inspirational manager - one who can drive them onwards and upwards. Robson strikes me as about as inspirational as a bucket full of puke. Never was very animated on the touchline with West Brom last season. Here's a few snapshots of his time on the touchline... I present to you Waxwork Robson. lol
Lord Nibblington Posted 7 February 2007 Posted 7 February 2007 That's just a horrible thought... McClaren as National Team manager, which Robson as U21 boss?
Zingari Posted 7 February 2007 Posted 7 February 2007 its pretty hard to look animated in still photos chosen by someone trying to make a point
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 February 2007 Posted 7 February 2007 go for it !!! Woooooooooooooooooooow. Carm it down!
lookwhaticando Posted 7 February 2007 Author Posted 7 February 2007 its pretty hard to look animated in still photos chosen by someone trying to make a point Still doesn't counter the fact that, last season, every time the camera focussed in on him during a match, he was standing as stiff as a board on the touchline.
Geo V Posted 8 February 2007 Posted 8 February 2007 It goes to prove that not all great players should neccasarily mean that they will become great managers. Also not all inspirational players do well and the more calm players who assess everything and seem analytical are the ones who make great managers (most of whom were actually shite players). I would have put money on Robson, Pearce, Butcher (not Pat) and Mark Wright would make great managers. What a quality judge I am
