Bluefoxtim Posted 26 February 2007 Author Posted 26 February 2007 Have you tried doing a system restore back to the day they were working? yup, also repaired windows. Programs that come with their own codecs work fine, just the ones where you need to download codecs don't work. I've tried reinstalling and a program verified that they were installed.

The ffdshow icon appeared in the toolbar and I have seen that before, so somehow I must have got rid of this... but now its back THANKS SO MUCH!
