Gone But Not Forgotten

Recommended Posts

We all know about Carl Asaba and Gareth Farrelly but what about trialists from previous seasons?

Sascha Lenhart, anybody?

German winger who played in the reserves a couple of times.

Edwin Ouom?

Defender who played in pre-season under Adams at the same time we had Youl Mawene on trial.

We had a Swedish keeper on trial during the O'Neill years as well but his name escapes me.

We were also linked with this Danish striker called Soren Frederiksen. Not sure whether he ever arrived on trial though. I think he played for AaB in Denmark.

I know its a way back but my nominees would be Mark Bright and Tom English.

The Akinbiyis of their day.

Truly Awful

would this be the same mark bright who scored a hat trick against everton on linekers first visit back to filbo :dunno:

we then sold him to palace where he forged a fantastic partnership with ian wright
