Brainy Posted 27 February 2007 Posted 27 February 2007 I think Peter Canero now plays his football somewhere in America
Brainy Posted 27 February 2007 Posted 27 February 2007 Stephen Dawson. And he now plays for Mansfield if my memory serves me right
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 27 February 2007 Posted 27 February 2007 Richard Cresswell, Dean Sturridge, Ian Ormondroyd, Ashley Ward, Billy Davies, Tommy English, David Webb, George Armstrong, Roger Davies etc etc The Big O does not belong in this list - he was never a "forgettable" player like the John Curtis/Peter Caneros of this world. He was with us for a while, made an impact and was part of possibly the tallest front line Wembley ever saw along with Walsh and Roberts against Derby. I don't think Cresswell, Sturridge or Ward should be in this category either to be honest and I cannot remember the rest of 'em so probably before my time.
Joe. Posted 27 February 2007 Posted 27 February 2007 I think Peter Canero now plays his football somewhere in America Yup plays for the New York Red Bulls
DB11 Posted 27 February 2007 Posted 27 February 2007 Steve Guppy's second spell? freund He was ace And remember the brawl against Man City? Freund got himself involved in that too... he was on the bench at the time and ran on the pitch into the action!
renards Posted 27 February 2007 Posted 27 February 2007 Graham Fenton Pegguy Arphexad Stuart Wilson Stefan Oakes Tim Flowers Can't really include him. whilst he never lived up to his full potential still decent MON took him in to his office and told him he had saved him (LCFC) 3.5m and Peter Shirtliff who was at Shef Wed with Waddle said Oats had a better left foot than CW. Peter Talor did his best to ruin him, as he did Guppy etc Still got a sweet left peg
AyewJoking Posted 27 February 2007 Posted 27 February 2007 again have a look here! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Leic...ty_F.C._players How come Ormandroyd isnt in that list?
lildave3 Posted 27 February 2007 Posted 27 February 2007 Who's Priet ? Ahh Nicolas Priet, i remember him. Did he even play for us? I just remember him warming up on his own before every match
Alexikokopops Posted 28 February 2007 Posted 28 February 2007 Yup plays for the New York Red Bulls No he doesn't, he left at the end of the 2006 season.
MC Prussian Posted 28 February 2007 Posted 28 February 2007 Can't really include him. whilst he never lived up to his full potential still decent MON took him in to his office and told him he had saved him (LCFC) 3.5m and Peter Shirtliff who was at Shef Wed with Waddle said Oats had a better left foot than CW. Peter Talor did his best to ruin him, as he did Guppy etc Still got a sweet left peg I admit that my list's a tad bit harsh on those lads, but if I remember correctly those players were never regular starters and acted more like fillers in emergency cases. And whom of those really lived up to their potential, if they had any?
fosseman Posted 28 February 2007 Posted 28 February 2007 Alan Waddle, Roger Thingy Now those two were just awful. They were in the darkest of possible days in the club's playing history.
Toby or not Toby Posted 28 February 2007 Posted 28 February 2007 youve all forgotten claridge, i mean all he ever did was score us the goal to get promoted and the goal that won us the league cup in 1997 btw i do think junior lewis is probably the worst player to ever where a leicester shirt in the time ive supported leicester and as far back as i can remember.
morris1234 Posted 28 February 2007 Posted 28 February 2007 jordan stewart!! had his moments of greatness but i personally never rated him!
Fox in a Box Posted 28 February 2007 Posted 28 February 2007 Lee Morris!....I actually have seen him in a leicester top anyone else!
isaidno Posted 28 February 2007 Posted 28 February 2007 Glombard, Low, Welsh, Brevett, Makin, Gilbert, Wilcox, Gemmill, Canero, Hamill, Smith, Priet, Curtis, Howey, Douglas, Pressman, Keown, Brooket, Hignett, Morris, Benjamin, Hirschfeld, Moore, Harper Hopefully the likes of which will not be seen under the new regime.. Any more happy faces to add? Douglas is still here !

And whom of those really lived up to their potential, if they had any? Tim Flowers was a regular during 1999/2000 - then injuries set in the following season. Despite that, as Burnham mentioned, perhaps the best keeper we've had for some time.
