Joe. Posted 17 March 2007 Posted 17 March 2007 The referee let a West Ham goal stand that barely even touched the line let alone go over it. For a start Tevez was offisde! Absolutely disgraceful decision. I'm sure others will echo my words after they see it later on MOTD. Also, David Bentley's second yellow card was stupid too. Very harsh. Video technology is needed badly.
Simi Posted 17 March 2007 Posted 17 March 2007 Awful 'guess' from the linesman. Can't wait for MOTD tonight.
Joe. Posted 17 March 2007 Author Posted 17 March 2007 Mark Hughes normally is sour after even a light 50-50 decision against his team. He's going to be absolutely livid after these ones.... Should be funny

I badly want West Ham to stay up because if they came down they are as good as guaranteed a top 2 possie whilst someone like Sheff Utd may struggle so I have been hoping they would do well. Today though was a joke! To those who havent seen it, West Ham were all over Blackburn and were mounbting some great pressure, the Hammers ahd a shot that was blocked and it came out to Zamora about 5 yards out and he hit it past the keeper, only for the ball to hit TEVEZ on the line and the lino gave a goal. Not only was Tevez`s clearance world class it would have made a great story that he cleared one off the line against his own side ! Just as funny was West Ham keeper Robert Green who ran out to get to the a through ball but the Blackburn striker nipped in first but his touch took him wide, just as the Blackburn player tried to square the ball for a team mate to hit it into an empty net, the rushing back Green stuck out a toe and managed to divert the ball over his own bar!! That also would have made a quality and strange goal! Great second half!

And i fancy beating them away from home next season.
lildave3 Posted 17 March 2007 Posted 17 March 2007 That decision was poor. You just have to laugh at Blackburn though, and West Ham need all the luck they can get
Maybes Posted 18 March 2007 Posted 18 March 2007 That decision was poor. You just have to laugh at Blackburn though, and West Ham need all the luck they can get hahahahahha that was so funny!! Its like man utd vs spurs again but the other way round
lookwhaticando Posted 18 March 2007 Posted 18 March 2007 When you're in the shit, you need a bit of luck. West Ham got that yesterday, perhaps they've turned a corner?
Guest Gist Posted 18 March 2007 Posted 18 March 2007 Tevez was offside, It didn't cross the line and the ball hit bowyer's hand in the build up and it was still given

I have bad memories of them giving us a beating down the years, especially the days when they had Ian Bishop running the midfield! As for next season, the Hammers will win the Championship next season if they go down because of the millions that the Egg will throw at the club!
Floating Fox Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 To be fair West Ham have had plenty bad luck and they deserved a bit of good luck. As they say (never agreed with it though) it all levels it's self out
