(ball watching + slow tackling + loss of shape) = Lack of fitness

There must be some reason why a player like Stearman who last season was always looking to push on, put in well-timed sliding challenges and get back to defend when he had to has looked sluggish all season. I think the players themselves have to take 50% of the responsibility themselves e.g. don't over-do the drinking and unhealthy eating during the summer but the coaching staff have to take the rest of the responsibility. A big deal was made at the start of the season about Kelly's pre-season training methods and a lot of players were coming out and saying "it's hard but not as hard as it has been in the past". Well, you should prepare as if it was the real thing. If you push players to their absolute limits in pre-season then nothing will seem as tough during the season itself. It's not as if they don't get anytime to recover during the season. They were given 4 days off the other week!

Other factors may include lack of a reserve team for injured players to get match sharpness back again quickly. Sometimes I feel we've seen first team players being paraded in front of 20,000 odd people and they've not even had a proper game of football for weeks.

The defence was so poor on Saturday it was laughable. there just seems to be a lack of commitment, none of the players seem to care aout winning or losing.

And why's that? Because Kelly isn't saying anything when they play badly.

They think they can all just stroll through games, getting paid and putting no effort in because Kelly keeps telling them they are doing well when there not.

It's simple we need a new manager
