Darth Fox Posted 16 April 2007 Author Posted 16 April 2007 I think the 1,500 had a lot to do with the away fans emphatically outnumbering the home fans. lol lol Your not wrong, still at least one team in Leicestershire has some fight about them. That game against Hyde on Saturday is just a tad important.

Flexx Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 Lancaster city 39 games 0 points and goal difference of -76
Darth Fox Posted 16 April 2007 Author Posted 16 April 2007 Lancater city 39 games 0 points and goal difference of -76 Just the sort of team that Hinckley will slip up or draw against. Hope not! Have decided will attend that one and hope it's a cricket score.
City Fan Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 I think the 1,500 had a lot to do with the away fans emphatically outnumbering the home fans. lol lol Kettering did not emphatically outnumber the home fans. There were 1,400 there overall, about 650 Hinckley and 750 Kettering. It just looked like Kettering emphatically outnumbered Hinckley fans because Kettering only had a third of the stadium.
Geo V Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 Have any Hinckley fans heard of an old mate of mine called Ian Thompson? Ive mentioned him before on here but he was an ex-England youth International who didnt make it and the last I heard was he was playing for Hinckley????

There has been an ex-England youth international joined a month or so back called Adam Johnson, but there is no one called Ian Thompson.
Geo V Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 There has been an ex-England youth international joined a month or so back called Adam Johnson, but there is no one called Ian Thompson. Ian must be 31 or 32 now. He was an International whilst being a Leicester youth player about 16 or 17 years ago! Never mind, I`ll track the lad down but he obviously didnt make it big as we all thought he would back in the day.
DJhinckley Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 I think the 1,500 had a lot to do with the away fans emphatically outnumbering the home fans. as the poster above states Hinckley drew an above average fan base of 650, and Kettering had an excellent (for our level anyway) 750. Kettering have always been well supported so normally don't have to make outrageous inflated fan base claims, so it makes it even more laughable that they were desperate enough to make claims that they out numbered Hinckley 3:1. Their support also dwindled somewhat during the game when their 3 coach load of 'chav army' realised Hinckley are lovers not fighters and headed towards the town with nobody to fight. If we scrape the playoffs then it is very likely we shall play Kettering and having beaten them home and away already, have nothing to fear. Anyone not going to Preston is welcome to attend tomorrow, it is £9 adults £6 concessions and for this match children under 16 gain free entry with paying adult. There will be a half price drinks promotion in the bar after the agme from 5pm till 8pm.
City Fan Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 Its against Hyde United, who themselves are also pushing for a playoff place. Hinckley really need something out of the game to be in with a shout of a playoff position come the end of the season. Should be a cracking game.
