The title was decided on the final race of last year which McLaren won, but officials believe new signings Daniel Cox and Chris Louth have the potential to take Super Aguri to the top. The drivers were signed from Ferrari after a poor season. They replace Takuma Sato and Yude Ide who were quickly signed up by Honda after the sacking of Andy Hunt.

The team have offloaded Dan Cox & Chris Louth to Super Aguri and have bought in rising star Johnny Matthews from Toyota and Shaun Wilkes from Honda. Ferrari technical director Mario Almondo commented " We are delighted to have signed Johnny & Shaun , the team spirit has improved dramaticaly since their arrival. We are targeting more regular podium finishes this season and a return to the winners circle "

'I'm really looking forward to the season' says a delighted Wilkes, 'I'd like to thank Andy Hunt for the help he gave me whilst covering for Joe last season, but when we race, it will be Dog eat Dog.'

Todt said; "We failed them, simple as. The car was never quick enough to catch the likes of Honda, Renault and McLaren." He added; "Both drivers fulfilled the potential of the car." After a disappointing 2006 season, Todt had hoped to re-sign both for the 2007 season. However Todt revealed; "Unsurprisingly, they wanted a fresh start and did not feel that they were happy with the car's performance." Also present at the conference, 2006 driver Daniel Cox expressed his unhappiness at the Ferrari attitude; "The engineers didn't care and the car was never assessed despite a run of bad results. Myself and Chris look forward to better times at Super Aguri."

He stated that an incident in the pit-lane in last years race in Montrael left him furious. Season to Kick-off on the 22nd in Melbourne The anticipation is heating up as the FIA (Foxestalk International Automobiles) announced the start date to sereis 2. Melbourne is expected to be packed! This is what the FIA had to say "Sunday hopefully. Because three of us will be in blackpool getting wankered on saturday night so dont want to miss a set up" :D

isaidno Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 Renault order enquiry Renault technical director Pat Symonds has ordered an immediate enquiry into why it's cars were nearly 2 seconds off of the pace in the opening practice session of the season in Melbourne. Both Renault drivers have been highly critical of the under performing car, and both drivers demand answers from the technical guru.

A statement from the Japanese racing team said: "It seems we are all getting frustrated by the continual delays to the start of the new Formula Foxestalk 2007 season. Every team except Williams do agree that the start time is ridiculous and a breakaway is a thought process we are mulling over."
