hairy Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 I became Chairman of the local youth team last week. One of my first tasks is to raise money for four new goals for the club to use. We have a presentation evening coming up in June and have organised a BBQ and bar for it. What we need now is some stalls / games to get a few more quid out of those attending. Has anyone any ideas for these that they have seen or been a part of? Thanks
Sparky Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 im on the commetee of West end utd and was also on beaumont towns commettee a few years ago . on saturday night we held a race nite (if u want that explaining please pm me ) at aylestone park fc linekers lounge , people paid for tickets to get in , placed bets and we had a raffle going also , we raised nearly £500 . quiz nights are good also but with quiz nights you must also run a big raffle with big prizes ! i usually get a city shirt , a county bat or a tigers shirt signed as top prizes

The cricket club does quiz and race nights which are aimed more at parents.
