have a good time; used to love going to cyprus and remeber the time on a hot sunny day we went for a drive up the troodos mountains , we were just dressed in shorts etc and after about an hours driving it seemed like we had gone into the arctic circle ; there was snow all around

trying to make a quick exit down the hill , we came face to face with a big lorry coming up the hill , so i pulled into the side of the road .............except it was not road but a big pile of snow and the car half turned over ; luckily a few minutes later an army lorry came by and the soldiers jumped out and manually lifted the car back onto the road :)

PMSL

I must admit that when I went on my first family holiday to Cyprus and we took the drive upto the mountains I nearly s**t myself about ten times on the dodgy roads to get there. I though it was only a matter of time before we went flying off as there were little or no barriers and it was pot luck if we made it through lol

Im looking forward to the break after years as a jobsworth retail manager for loads of companies, working 6 day weeks and the rest. It should be fun but the last time I went I didnt want to come back which isnt advisable as I have an 8yo son over here lol. If only his mum wasnt such a South American battleaxe I would have moved the two of them over there but bringing the lad over for his summer hols for two weeks will have to do for now!

Cheers TPH and Bluesbrother, I`ll make teh best of it have no fear lol:thumbup:

It took your missus 7 years to realise?

I reckon it took her a few weeks to realise and then 6 1/2 years to find the words.

Not that those words can have been hard to find - I mean I can think of a few.
