Alexikokopops Posted 20 May 2007 Posted 20 May 2007 Gordon Brown was at my Uni today (Warwick, not Coventry), for a Labour leadership hustings event in our Arts Centre http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/6673719.stm As a result I've decided to use this thread to moan about the trouble our country's already befallen: The protesters were shouting far too loudly, I could hear them half way across Campus from the fourth floor of our library while pretending to revise At first I thought the protesters and were cheerleaders practicing because they were chanting rubbish stuff. I was embarrassed. I couldn't go in the Arts Centre to get a fancy sandwich because the whole place was surrounded by policemen, and a couple of dogs. I had to settle for a crappy cheese salad one from the Costcutters opposite. I like fancy sandwiches. Gordon Brown had the indecency to get out his car and go in the Arts Centre about 5 minutes before I decided to sit down on our Piazza facing it for lunch, so I didn't get a chance to watch him amble along. Rude bastard. The news crews didn't interview me. This is his fault. The woman getting chucked out for whatever reason wasn't nearly manhandled enough, it was boring. Sort it out Gordon, you're not even Prime Minister yet and I already have enough reasons not to vote for Labour next General Election. Woe is me.
stez Posted 20 May 2007 Posted 20 May 2007 well, i was just sitting here eating a salmonella sandwich, when a man walked up to me; "would you mind dear sir, if i asked you a question? if music be the food of love, are you the indigestion?"
