I'm 99% sure that in 1981 or 82 (i reckon 82), there was a competition in the leicester mercury for a chance to have your photo taken with the City team. My dad entered for me (I was 10 or 11) and won me a place! There were about 100ish kids there that day, with 6 of us at a time having our photos taken with the team. Just wondering if anyone on here had their piccy taken. Some of the squad there that day were: Alan Young, Jim Melrose, Steve Lynex, Andy Peake, Billy Gibson?, Mark Wallington, Gary Lineker, Larry May, Tommy Williams, Norman Leet...just trying to think who else!
