£20mil is a good price, and with Garcia going the other way their net spending on him is really only 16mil. And he's much younger than Henry.

This signing should hopeful get them up challenging with Man U and Chelsea, but they do need another winger, and in an ideal world, another central defender

I agree that Rafa's signings have been very hit and miss.

It seems he is excellent at scouting young talent across Europe and South America, but many of his signings have been poor.

Bellamy - Not good enough for Liverpool - 6mil

Nunez - Just crap

Morientes - Didn't do much at all

Fowler - Was past it

Pennant - Not good enough again

Gonzales - Still needs to prove himself - may be better this season

Kuyt - Not a 12mil pound player

I'm sure there's more I haven't mentioned.
