I'm quite a passive observer of footall matches and so chose ot sit in the west stand with me Dad but if I was a vocal supporter I'd have to say that L1 just comes across as a bunch of kidz showing off.

Daniel, a prawn sandwich eater is somebody who gets corporate hospispality to the games and has no passion or interest in the football, that is a world away from me. I work hard to pay for my ticket and care about Leicester just as much as anyone who likes to shout abuse at opposition supporters and bizarrely their own players.

As for showing off, I refer to the boasting about getting in trouble with the police and the stupid assoiation with the YBS. I am not saying everyone is liek that and I am sure 90% are their for the atmosphere but it is the other 10% that would put me off sitting there.

The Blackpool game probably gave the impression that it's a bunch of kids showing off. I know it's not because I've sat across from it for three years. Imho, if you want to sing, the Kop's for you, if you want to sing and have some good banter with the away fans L1's your best bet, passive observers in the West stand and the majority of the East stand and little kids obviously in the family stand.

Seeing a number of teenagers lead off by the police in a completely passionles match ( apart from the last 10 minutues) against opponents we have no rivalry with was slightly bizarre. Only to return to boasts from people about the trouble they got in with the police.

The Blackpool game?

I've never seen a teenager thrown out of L1, usually blokes.

Oh, and I love FOSTERS. :)

Two lads, prime examples of chavs, being thrown out one after the other with massive grins on their faces as if they'd done something to be proud of?! That was against Blackpool, and they didn't look a day over 12. ;)

Missed the game so couldn't tell you.

you'll be suprised by how many we'll bring.

on ratio, our away support is the best in the league - TRUE FANS

67683[/snapback]

what like those 250 you bought down against us that was truely pathetic. there was more home support than away support in the away end

WHATS IT LIKE TO, WHATS IT LIKE TO, WHATS IT LIKE TO SEE A CROWD!

[gets ready to rag doll phil all over this board]

right, before i start, i dont want this thread to be closed because of me

phil has made a statement, and now i will simply prove him wrong

right, first of all, we didnt bring 250, we brought more than that

why arent you like the sensible ipswich fans? they understood why we didnt bring that many, but you cearly dont

it was a night match in the week a week before chirstmas away to ipswich which is a 12 hour all round trip and was also live on sky so i think that this might have just put a little bit of wiganers off

ipswich fans also said they wouldnt of brougt many to our place in the same situation

you get 30000 at home, and yet you brought 800 to the jjb stadium last season

that my friend, is truly pathetic.
