You really ought to watch them if you want to form a proper opinion. I'm saying nothing more. Yesterday's game is over. I look forward to both playing well next time out. But not for a minute do I expect it to be in the first team. Cos I wouldn't play anyone in the first team without damned good reason.

That's not what I said at all.

If we signed Scholes I wouldn't dream of having him prove his worth in the first team.

A genuine quality international would show up as such in training.

But Kaebi missed pre-season and needed to acclimatise anyway. In doing so his shortcomings became apparent.

Question now is will he come through or will he prove an expensive lesson in the wisdom of doing proper research into every signing?

Maybe had he had his International clearance confirmed earlier and if he took part in pre-season playing with the first team squad he may have shone.

Anyway we are going round and round in circles on this one as to me it seems his fitness isn't the issue, more the fact that maybe GM doesn't really rate him as a first team player at the moment. Time will tell but as I have said elsewhere, I have a feeling he`ll be moving on come January of he doesnt get into the first team plans of GM.
