Guest Daniel Posted 3 March 2005 Posted 3 March 2005 ha, you wish madleiven, he's a wiganer through and through ''As pointed out already (sorry, can't remember who did), why is he doing this deal with a side sitting in the bottom half of the Championship, and not his own club who are trying to get into the Premiership?'' because you're an easy target, desperate and daft enough! adidas used to make our kits, but whelan fell out with them and so patrick (who are much better than jjb at kit making) now make our kits what am i talking about, this is jjb's first attempt to make kits, he's only experimenting! oh, and whelan owns patrick as well, so unlucky ''As for Whelan's money, does he really plough all of his hard earned cash into your team?'' eeeerm, where do you think our excellent stadium came from? where do you think our class training set up came from? where do you think the money to buy the class players in our team came from? hhhhhm 73761 Shame he can't buy supporters.

Nathan_Ellington_WAFC Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 patrick and jjb are two completely different companies, why on earth would they share the same factory?

Guest Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 ''As pointed out already (sorry, can't remember who did), why is he doing this deal with a side sitting in the bottom half of the Championship, and not his own club who are trying to get into the Premiership?''because you're an easy target, desperate and daft enough! But surely it's going to make loads of money, that's what you've been intimating elsewhere, so that argument doesn't stack up. adidas used to make our kits, but whelan fell out with them and so patrick (who are much better than jjb at kit making) now make our kitswhat am i talking about, this is jjb's first attempt to make kits, he's only experimenting! oh, and whelan owns patrick as well, so unlucky So Patrick will be making our kits then. ''As for Whelan's money, does he really plough all of his hard earned cash into your team?'' eeeerm, where do you think our excellent stadium came from? where do you think our class training set up came from? where do you think the money to buy the class players in our team came from? hhhhhm Sorry, I forgotten all about the numerous multi-million pound transfer Wigan have made. I was so blown away by the wonder of the stadium itself, which should be nominated for an architectural prize, it has befuddled my brain again. How much has Wigan Athletic actually spent? How much has come from ticket revenue? What about sponsorship, advertising etc? How much do the rugby club make? Are both clubs enjoying the benefit of the stadium rent free? If Whelan's paid the whole lot, this must mean Wigan are operating at a profit? In fact, there seems little point in supporters paying for tickets. By the way, my niece didn't, your stewards let her in for free. How generous of Mr Whelan! Free advertising anyone?

If JJB use a different manufacturing facility, although I cant see that happening, then there's a 50/50 chance they could be better or worse. Either way your statement is absolute rubbish.
MADLEVEIN Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 patrick and jjb are two completely different companies, why on earth would they share the same factory? 74256 walkers crisps and smiths are two completley different companies but they are still made at the same factory. its known as cutting costs and maximising profits
