I was in Venice and I'd subscribed to the official text alerts, got one saying it was one nil to Luton and that took up the last quid of my credit so I didn't get any more! Didn't find out the final score till about 3 days later.
He's not bald Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Coming home from Florida in Summer 2001, had to wait til we got back to Birmingham Airport on Sunday morning, got through baggage claim as quickly as possible (which isn't very fast), then ran into the arrivals newsagents, picked up the News of the World and saw the result "Leicester 0 Bolton 5"... not the best thing I've ever waited for. Strange that,I flew to Florida the Saturday morning we played Spurs in January 2006..I had such a good holiday I forgot my beloved team and didn't find out about the score until I spoke to a geordie on the flight home 2 weeks later!
Sods Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Ones i can recall. Leicester 0-0 with west ham, dublin red card. Played cricket during sheff united leicester. Recorded it so watched it at about 6, what a load of shite.
