crisp monster Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 I've just read that Burnley have only won one in their last ten. You know what that means................dont you?Come Satuday night it'll be two in the last eleven. We always slip-up against teams with such a record. So, it doesn't matter what team we put out. FFF God I'm pessimistic! havent we lost EVERY game 1-0 at home to Burnley since we've been at The Walkers? could be wrong but i can't remember getting a goal against them last years was the 'bring your blue flags night' i think
crisp monster Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Another one who doesn't watch the reserves. The lad would make a great marionette, and is slowly making more of a contribution, but on his showings so far I'd doubt he'd get in Hinckley's team. It's funny how everyone brings in the likes of Kaebi, Ferreira and Hellings (not that I think there's any chance of all three getting a chance) and ignores Hayes who was captain on Wednesday, played central midfield, laid one goal on a plate for Hellings and is the only one of the guys we're talking about to have actually played for our first team apart from Kaebi's very brief appearance. i know some MK Dons fans and they spoke very highly of Hayes i havent given up on him yet
TheBlinding Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 I think with no McAuley we'll have to go back to 4-4-2. Fulop Chambers N'gotty Kisnorbo Mattock if fit/Beswick (He was left out of the reserve squad wasn't he?)Newton King Kenton HayesFryatt John

Thracian Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 i know some MK Dons fans and they spoke very highly of Hayesi havent given up on him yet If he can get over his seemingly endless run of injuries I'm quite optimistic about him as a footballer.
Thracian Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Heres my squad:----------Kaebi--------- ---Kaebi---Kaebi---Kaebi -Kaebi---------------Kaebi ------Kaebi---Kaebi---- -----Kaebi------Kaebi there- match won 5-0 more serious: ------------Fulop----------- Ngotty----Kenton---Kisnorbo ----------stearmen---------- --kaebi--------------ferriera -----------chambers-------- --------------Hume----------- ------fryatt---------john----- I understand your enthusaism, but if you really are a fan of Kaebi you'll give him proper time to integrate before pushing for his inclusion in a situation he's not yet ready for. He's still young, he's still not properly adjusted to English football and it needs the people around him to make him understand the wisdom of taking his transition one proper step at a time. He seemed altogether too strung up in the match - as if he were trying too hard for himself instead of quietly improving his feel for the team. As I say it's understandable. He's the same age as my youngest lad so I know how up and down they can be even when they're not under pressure. But older folk around him should know better and should help put things in proportion for him. It looked from his tackling and his attitude to the ref last night that he was all intense and uptight and that's the sort of mood that leads to mistakes and/or a sending off. My guess is he feels that everyone's against him. Even local lads can feel that when they're on the fringe of the first team let alone a guy from Iran. He's got plenty of support if only he appreciated it and his best course now is not to campaign through others for a place in the side but to genuinely earn it. And the first requirement in that task is for him to stay calm, do his job simply and effectively and win the confidence and respect of his teammates. he rest will follow if it's meant to be.
