Yeah, cracking start.

Pietersen was never out. Shouldn't of played at it, but he did. It blatently touched the ground

We let it slip a little after a decent start, though the appalling umpiring didn't help. Need a big stand between Collingwood and Prior in the morning.

Well played to Colly and Prior. Did what they needed to do to be fair.

Two good innings from Prior in a row now. Good comeback from all the criticism he has recieved.

Good start with the ball aswell this morning before Jayawardene and Vandort kicked in.

Come on England

just out of intrest is simon jones still injured or has he been left out ?

Since his great displays in the Ashes he's been injured. Always picking up little niggles that have led to more serious things.

Spent most of the last year out with a recurring knee injury and wasn't offered a central contract in september.

With a misfiring Harmison and injured Hoggard, a fit Simon Jones could do wonders.

Mr reverse swing

Stuart Broad bowled tidily today.

If he can show a little more penetration, he could be in the side for the next ten years!

Got done for running on the pitch twice in his first 5 overs this morning :giggle: Does it once more and is banned from bowling in the rest of the innings

Shame he couldn't show any of that penetration this morning.

Good draw. Got to draw some positives out of this game.

Although the bowlers have been up against it at times, they showed great determination and effort which puts us in a good position for the next test.

Pietersen looked to be back in a bit of form in his 45n.o this morning.

Well played to Vaughan though, had a very hard time with the bat lately but 2 half centuries look to have given him a bit of confidence.

Come on boys lets win the next test.
