Champagne

I've just drank the best part of 3 bottles at work, due, in main part to my 3 colleagues all having their cars with them.

Taittinger.

It was nice. But now I feel drunk and gassy.

Anyone a fan of this stuff?

I like it at Xmas/New Year etc but really, it's a bit over-rated to my mind.

I think it is the best thing ever invented. ESPECIALLY at Christmas time.

It would be one of my three items to take to a desert Island...

However, my previous boss (who also happened to be my Mother and Stepfather) would disagree....the £250 champagne bill at last years' Christmas Party would be the reason why...

Drinking at work is always fun. More so when nobody knows you keep a bottle of something in the filing cabinet for those 'slow' days...

Dom Perignon, the Benedictine monk, was originally employed by his abbey to get the bubbles out of the champagne, according to Gerard Liger-Belair's new book, Uncorked: the Science of Champagne.
