Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Daily MirrorMilan Mandaric 26/12/2007 On 30 August 2007 we said that Milan Mandaric had been "heartless" for sacking Martin Allen as Leicester manager just hours after he helped save the life of Clive Clarke by giving him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Although Mr Mandaric did sack Mr Allen the day after Mr Clarke's life had been saved, we were wrong to say that Mr Allen saved Mr Clarke' life by giving him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation as he did not. We are happy to clarify the position.

Jay Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 an out of court settlement you say... lets hope a bit of extra spending money for January has arrived from Mirror HQ as well!!
Simon Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I notice that they do not retract the statement that he was 'sacked' though... Still, what's done is done and hopefully Milan's got some money in his pocket to use in January

Any settlement would have been for a nominal fee, probably around £10k max.
