Guest Posted 3 February 2008 Posted 3 February 2008 I am after some Mary Whitehouse Experience, preferably on DVD. I have converted the first two episodes into a format the Archos loves. It works. No doubt, the entire two series will be in similar format by the end of the day, which can then be copied to disc. Would sir be interested in such a disc?

I'll swap it for, erm what do I have knocking about? I know, I have a useless cable that I never use ever since I got the King of Phones. I'll swap said disk for the useless cable. I knew this thread would pan out. I'm money. Hellacool!
Guest Posted 3 February 2008 Posted 3 February 2008 It's all gone horribly wrong. Having successfully converted two episodes, the desktop decided that it didn't like the dvd. I've just tried my laptop, and that went into a wap as soon as the disk was inserted. Why do things go wrong? I am being taunted with the two episodes that I have managed to rip. The remaining episodes are locked, no doubt laughing at me.

Guest Posted 3 February 2008 Posted 3 February 2008 Could it be copy protection on the disk? There are ways and means around that. It's a dodgy ebay thing. It's been saved as a VOB file, if that means owt. It worked for two, now refuses to interface with my ripper. There are ways and means. I will find them.

I am trying one last thing first. It's my idea. If it works, it means I'm better than Sir Fynwy - FACT. If it doesn't work, I will need to find myself a carpet to sweep the whole fiasco under.
Daggers Posted 28 June 2008 Author Posted 28 June 2008 Could we possible start swapping some of our squad for better players rather than just flogging them? There was always a kid who'd phone in wanting to swap the Mousetrap boardgame (missing all the pieces) for a gripping-hands Action Man with all the bits.
