Hi Fox fans, sorry to barge onto your board. Just been reading this thread and thought i'd offer you my local knowledge.

The number 1 club next to the away entrance always welcomes away supporters and is the base of BSA which is the offical supporters club for Blackpool fans. Also the waterloo on St. Annes Road is also good for away supporters and serves a great pint. There are also many pubs on Lytham Road still close to the ground the allow away supporters in, including a weatherspoons which you can never fail with. You shouldn't experience any trouble with home fans 99% are well behaved, you might get the odd gobsh**e chatting rubbish but i suppose you get that everywhere, blackpool fans are generally well behaved.

As for nightlife if you out after the game town gets lively about 9:30ish and Iwould recommend Queen Street to start at, a very good walkabout there. Also a few other good pubs and bars on this street. If you are planning to go to the famous syndicate nightclub be prepared to pay about £10 to get in, but if you like to dance to dance music/trance/hardhouse etc it is quality, its the biggest club in Britain and has the biggest Revolving dancefloor in Europe. Definatly a good experience. If you write these names down on a small bit of paper you will find most of the Taxi drivers know where they are goung and between 4-6 you wont pay more than £2 each on a journey. I look forward to seeing you all out saturday night as i always love a bit of banter with the away lads as most away supporters have been superb up here this season. I'd like to apologise in advance for the away end, its a joke and you should not be made to sit in there. If the singers try and bunch up togeher near the home fans it usually makes for good atmosphere although a few teams have struggled to get the atmosphere going(coventry were appauling) Stoke however made a superb noise in there so hopefully you will be able to create it. Apprently a lad brings a drum to away games...tell him not to, as we have two drums both of which are huge and usually the lad with the away drum is too embarrased to use it after hearing our two drums going....anyway all the best have a safe journey up and hope its a good game.

I can assure you these are pubs are all ok, if you check on the footballgroudguide website this will also confirm this, the only pub i would say to avoid would be the castle and thats in town where the "hooligans" meet. Most fans have sat where they wanted in the away stand. Be good to listen to the battle of the drums, although with you guys having no roof and it been the windiest place in britain here in blackpool i got a feeling we wont be hearing to muchof it. If that lad takes his top off tomorrow he will surely need to see a doctor because im not kidding, the weather here is a disgrace.

Yeah they do. fooking pissed off if they've done a turn around on it. It's gunna be fooking freezing, definitely need to be bouncing around rather than stuck sitting with the packed lunch crew
