Lillehamring Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 managed to catch the last half hour of this, by which point wales were pretty much sitting back quite comfortably defending their lead. looks like wales played quite a few young lads (either that or old ones i've never heard of)... fair play. the pitch, tho, was awful, which makes it even more impressive that they scored some good, footballing goals. the thing that seemed strange tho, was why wales would schedule this fixture at this time, apart from the premiership players, most of the norwegians hadn't played competitively since 3rd november, so not sure if this was that much of a test, in the end, for wales. it kinda showed, i felt, especially at the end, it was a bit embarassing, i think they were all thinking about going skiing this weekend. oh, and yellow welsh kit -
